Process of creation: Textiles surface design class final project. Unconventionally, a structured brassier made of hand made marino wool felt & lined with bamboo & linen, hand-made block printed with ProcionMX dyes. I felted enough to last me a lifetime that week; created about 5 sheets of 20x40 felts of various weights. I did not get a chance to photodocument the finished product. As soon as I get it back I will give an update! I honestly thought this project was totally whack, but upon completion, I realized it was actually quite wearable. Looking forward to keeping warm when winter comes.
